We stayed in Conegliano and loved the town and the people. We were met at the airport in Venice by one of your drivers; Luca.
He was wonderful and offered to drive us to a grocery store close on the outskirts of Conegliano as it was Sunday and the local stores were closed. Luca did a great job finding our lodgings as it was located on a very narrow dead end street.
A few days later we hired Cris for a tour of Prosecco country. We toured three wineries; Marchiori, Nani Rizzi and Adami Adriana. The staff were relaxed and very knowledgeable. Cris let us decide what kind of lunch we wanted and we opted for an amazing lunch at a local trattoria. The food and views were spectacular. Cris also let us experience the Prosecco vending machine and we shared a small bottle while overlooking the foothills.
A surprise stop at an out of the way gelato shop ended a memorable and perfect day.
