After finding the Visit Prosecco website and reading all about the tours, we decided a day visit from Venice was just what we wanted to do! The entire process was very simple – we emailed our request and Cris responded giving us the options available. The price is very reasonable – €300 for an air conditioned modern van that seats up to 8. We chose to have a 6 hour tour, visiting 1 winery in the morning, followed by a leisurely lunch and finishing with 1 more winery in the afternoon. Cris was fantastic – he emailed us the details of which train to take from Venice along with where to get off, at what time, and there he was waiting for us. He has a great knowledge of the local area, and is studying to be a sommelier. The wineries he chose were lovely family owned wineries, with very good wines at inexpensive prices. To save time while we were at the last winery he went to the train station to pick up our return tickets. I highly recommend Cris and Visit Prosecco. If you are interested in a great day out, just book! This is a lovely area to visit that is not over run by tourists.
