Our tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Cris was great – very knowledgeable about the region and the selected wineries. Our private tour began mid-morning. Cris picked us up from our hotel and off we went for a full day of visiting beautiful, family-owned wineries. We learned the history of the region and about the DOC/DOCG, which determines the quality of the Prosecco.
I highly recommend a trip to the Valdobbiadene region of Italy, where you will find some of the most picturesque views of the country, and taste the most delicious varieties of Prosecco. We purchased bottles at every winery and had the bottles shipped home, to the states – where they’ve arrived just in time to be enjoyed at family celebrations and the upcoming holidays!
