A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Italy’s Prosecco region is far more than a place to visit for a few hours and a couple of glasses of wine. Brimming with luxury guesthouses, agriturismos (farmstays) and cute family-run B&Bs, you’ll be spoilt for choice. To help you decide where to rest your head after a day of tasting Prosecco, here’s a list of our absolute favourite places to stay in the Prosecco Region. These are the places the Visit Prosecco Italy team have personally visited, tried and tested. I’ve listed them alphabetically.
If you’re looking to explore even more, check out our separate guides to where to stay in Conegliano, Valdobbiadene and Venice.
Prices: We’ve included prices as an indication. These may change based on seasonality, discounts and availability. Translation tip: Locanda means inn. Map: You can see the accommodation on our map, below.
Borgoluce
This has got to be one of my absolute best recommendations if you’re after an agritourismo (farm) stay in the Prosecco region. Before we even get onto the topic of accommodation, Borgoluce, which is spread over a few sites, produces its own wine, buffalo mozzarella, honey, cured meats, beer… and many other produce.
There are walking / biking paths to explore, an osteria to dine at (serving their own products, of course), a farm shop if you want to picnic at your accommodation and a natural pool to swim in when you walk to cool down (I visited when it was raining and it was still inviting). The rooms are already divine but they are about to be made even more luxurious with a new look coming in December 2018.
Note: Borgoluce can require a bit of forward planning. As wonderful as it is, there is no restaurant within walking distance (although Borgoluce owns an Osteria, it is not walking distance from the accommodation. Also, you’ll need transport to get back to the train station (Susegana) to return to Venice. Don’t worry – for transport you can either arrange for a local taxi, otherwise one of the staff might be available to give you a ride. And for food, email Borgoluce and they should be able to arrange an evening snack for you (cold meats and cheese), which is perfect if you’ve had a long lunch and afternoon of Prosecco drinking.
Area: Susegana | Price: €120

Duca di Dolle
Another agritourismo that can serve up own-label Prosecco as well as a host of other local produce, Duca di Dolle is perfect if you want a tranquil stay. I could show you a picture of my room, which had a simple and natural dark wood and white linen feel but really, the best of this accommodation lies just outside the door. One of the prettiest breakfast spots you are going to find in all of the Prosecco land and ideal for a post-tour glass of Prosecco at sunset. Bonus: there’s a large pool for those hazy summer days.
Area: Rolle | Price around: €125

Hotel Dei Chiosti
Sister hotel of Hotel Villa Abazzia (below), Hotel Dei Chiosti is a beautiful, modern interior featuring clean lines and cream linen in an old, converted building. With beautiful views over the Abbey of Follina, I slept incredibly well in this peaceful hotel and would have happily stayed longer.
Area: Follina | Price: €125

Hotel Villa Abbazzia
If you have grand plans for your trip to the Prosecco region, stay at Hotel Villa Abbazia. This Relais & Chateau hotel in the heart of Follina has the region’s only Michelin star hotel and drips with opulence. Follina itself is a perfect base with a beautiful Abbey and a choice of bars and bistros. I’ve stayed in this hotel and you can’t beat the sumptuousness.
Area: Follina | Price: €196

Locanda Da Lino
There’s a high likelihood someone famous from the Italian arts and music scene has slept in your room if you choose Locanda Da Lino. I ate lunch is the restaurant and then had a nose around the rooms and I was sufficiently wowed by both the food and accommodation here. Best of all there are a couple of apartment-style rooms, great for groups.
Area: Pieve di Soligo

Locanda Marinelli
A small inn attached to the wonderful Locanda Marinelli restaurant, this inn is family owned and run and not only does it produce some of the best food you can eat in the region (try the truffle fries), the views are superb, stretching right across the Prosecco hills.
Area: Farra di Soligo | Price: €60-€90 (single/double)

Relais Le Betulle
This hotel has so many winning features: it’s located in Conegliano, making it perfect if you’re arriving by train, but being up in the hills, you still get the sense of remoteness as well as spectacular views.
There are a couple of eateries within walking distance once you’re at ‘the top’ though the on-site restaurant Enrica Miron is impressive enough you probably won’t want to dine elsewhere. Bonus: Relais Le Betulle has a beautiful swimming pool for cooling off in summer.
Area: Conegliano | Price: €88

Maso di Villa
Maso di Villa is an old farmhouse which has recently been converted into a quaint country inn, located on the top of a hill close to the town of Susegana.
During the spring and summer months, the building’s original stone walls are almost completely covered in ivy, while purple wisteria clings to the wooden pergola outside, making it one of the prettiest options for accommodation in the Prosecco region.
Inside, the rest of the inn is just as enchanting as its exterior. The bedrooms have wooden floors and exposed beam ceilings, while the entire property is elegantly decorated with antique floral furnishings and impressive attention to detail. The combination of the welcoming decor and the extremely attentive hosts will have you feeling immediately at home.
The farmhouse also has a large wrap around garden with a vegetable patch and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the surrounding vineyards – ideal for a sunny day in the Prosecco hills!
Maso di Villa also has its own small winery next door to the property, which guests can visit and sample their two red wines Colli di Conegliano Rosso DOCG, Nasi Rossi and Maso di Villa.

Casa nel Cuore del Prosecco
Casa nel Cuore del Prosecco (which means ‘House in the Heart of Prosecco’) is a three bedroom holiday home in Valdobbiadene which is lovingly maintained and rented out by the owner.
The house can be rented as an entire property, ideal for larger families and small groups visiting the Prosecco region. The restored farmhouse is full of character, with a separate cosy living area, a small rustic kitchen with a real wood burner and conjoining dining room full of charming antique furnishings.
There is also a private sun terrace on the upper floor, with outdoor tables for enjoying one last glass in the late evening sun while taking in the stunning mountain views.
Another key selling point of Casa nel Cuore del Prosecco is its close proximity to the centre of town. It only takes 5 minutes on foot to reach the restaurants, shops and supermarkets of the charming town of Valdobbiadene.
Area: Valdobbiadene | Price: €160 (per room) – around €380 if you rent the entire farmhouse for 6 people.

Turvino B&B by Sorelle Bronca
Turvino is a beautiful B&B run by the lovely Elisa from Sorelle Bronca winery, located within one of their vineyards and just a short distance down the road from the winery itself.
The modern B&B has clean and unique multilevel rooms with their own small terraces, as well as communal living spaces and a kitchen and dining area where a traditional breakfast buffet is served each morning.
But the highlight of a stay at Turvino is without a doubt the outdoor pool and terrace area which overlooks the vineyards and nearby towns. The ideal spot to relax in the sun on one of the sunbeds the morning after a busy day exploring the Prosecco hills.

Villa Clementina Tenuta Contarini
Tenuta Contarini is a historic 19th century villa nestled within the twelve hectares of vineyards of the Contarini Estate. The villa has been converted into a charming farmhouse, perfect for a stay in the heart of Prosecco DOGC.
Reached by driving down an avenue of centuries-old lime trees (don’t miss a photo op here!), the farmhouse has a rustic charm to it, with wood-beamed ceilings, parquet floors, antique furnishings and cosy floral sofas placed by fireplaces to enjoy during the colder months. The bedrooms are spacious, especially the ensuite bathrooms, and a tasty and substantial home-cooked breakfast can be enjoyed in the large dining room downstairs each morning.
You can also enjoy a tasting of the Prosecco produced on the Contarini Estate, take a walk through the surrounding vineyards or spend an afternoon relaxing on the pretty outdoor terrace.

If we won´t rent a car, were do you sugest we stay?
Conegliano is the best option without a car but you would need a driver to visit the wineries.
This is all really helpful, thank you!
