We are 3 girls from Australia and we had an amazing day with Cris exploring the Prosecco hills. Even before the day, Cris was so helpful in his emails explaining that on our first day in the region (31 May) the Giro d‘Italia was passing through and suggesting activities we could still do that would not be impacted by the race. He ended up making a booking for us for a tasting at Giusti Wine in Nervesa della Battaglia which was one of the best wine tasting experiences I’ve had anywhere! On the actual day, Cris picked us up from our hotel in a brand new van and promised us a fun day. I’m glad to say Cris absolutely delivered on that promise! The three wineries we experienced were all very different but gave us a great range of Proseccos to sample. The landscape we saw on the day particularly around Cartizze was magical and breathtaking! But the best thing about the day was the laughs we had with Cris. He never rushed us even though we gladly lingered at each winery (the proseccos made us even chattier!). At the end of the day, even though our time was up Cris insisted we experience the views from the Prosecco vending machine and took us for one final surprise stop :-). Highly recommend a visit to the region and spending a day with Cris!
