We spent a wonderful 4 hours in the Prosecco region with Cristiano, our driver, who was very knowledgeable about the area. He took us along a very beautiful route, passing acres of vines and countryside. He knew so much about each village, and told us lots of very interesting facts. When we reached our destination, which was at the top of a very steep mountain, we had a wonderful lunch of cheese, meat, bread and of course Prosecco, from L’Osteria Senza Oste – this place was absolutely incredible, and we will never forget our experience there! Cristiano stayed with us, telling us the history of the vineyard and the winery nearby, where we enjoyed hearing about the production of the wine and had some tastings of their delicious Prosecco. It was a fantastic day, made all the more enjoyable by Cristiano’s helpfulness and willingness to share his knowledge of the region. He was able to answer all our questions and gave us a day to remember – thank you, Cristiano!
